Canada’s favourite Zionist media conglomerate, CanWest, is crumbling, kind of (yay!) Toronto’s Tamil community says the war may be over, but they’re not. Pretty soon we’ll be seeing Tamil protest updates on our GPS. “Tamil, protest, 4km ahead, take next exit.” Too soon?! The Jays are being humbled by the Red Sox after being the kings of baseball for the last month, aaaand Pakistan is souping up its nuclear missiles and playas be doin’ what they do best. Playa hatin’.

This needs to be stickied on the Facebook login page, though if you asked me right now what Facebook’s front page looked like I’d probably give you the same look I have while browsing Facebook: zombie-like. That’s so wrong (but it feels so right!)

EDITOR’S NOTE

Let me tell you, I hate this site right now, but it’s okay because I’ve accepted that hatred and now I can finally move on.

To explain, I picked the magazine layout for this site because Superman Sikandar thought he was going to write thought-provoking articles on a regular basis and a heavy article layout would suffice. Then he read something funny, or an article he wanted to share, or a picture that grabbed him, and realized the layout didn’t allow to share these tiny bits of information without making an *article* about it. “My site sucks”, he decided, and did what he does to everything else that sucks – he ignored it.

A week and a half later he’s back and he wants to make things right. I’m sorry sikandar.ca, for not trying to meet in the middle of your shitty layout and at least try to make things work. Let’s try to make this work. It’ll take some time but it’ll all be worth it in the end. I do love my cliches.

So I’m not really sure how I want to organize this yet, so I guess I’ll just throw it all in here and it’ll sort out by itself. Then again I apply the same philosophy to my room and that hasn’t worked out too well. I figure a week is too long and a day is too often, but let’s start out with a day and hopefully I’ll be efficient enough that I can sort through everything and post something within 30 minutes. How I’ll merge this into the site I’ll figure out later I guess.

Thanks for reading everyone, I’m a bit surprised at the amount of readers and feedback I’ve gotten since starting this site a month ago. I just hope I can keep it relevant as my readership grows. I’m learning towards Toronto-centric stuff with a bit of news, sports, humour, technology, social psychology, Pakistani politics and whatever else comes to mind. I guess that’s why I called it sikandar.ca. :)
